Trout Fly Fishing
At the heart of our fishery is our 3-acre sparkling reservoir, regularly stocked with hard-fighting Rainbow Trout & Brown Trout ranging from 3lb up to 20lb+. Enjoy clear bank casting access and peaceful natural surroundings.
Flexible Permit Packages
Whether you want a 4-hour session (£30), full day Catch & Release (£35), or Catch & Kill tickets (1 to 5 fish tiers), we offer flexible permits designed around your schedule and angling preferences.
Fly Fishing Lessons
Tuition for all skill levels. Complete novices learn fundamental casting, knot tying, and fly selection, while experienced anglers refine advanced watercraft skills. Conducted in small friendly groups.
Tackle Store & Rod Hire
Need gear for the day? Our tackle shop stocks fly lines, leaders, proven local fly patterns, and accessories. We also offer fly rod and equipment hire so you can fish even without your own gear.
Catering & Refreshments
Our upcoming catering facility will serve hot and cold drinks, fresh cakes, snacks, and rolls. A welcoming spot for anglers and park visitors to relax before or after a day on the lake.

Dare Valley Trout Fishery is open 7 days a week, offering year-round fly fishing in the South Wales valleys (closed Christmas Day).
